🔋 ONYX 41Ah & 45Ah BMS Info / Connection Guide

Step 1: Identify Your Battery

  • 41Ah Battery
    → Requires the “Xiaoxiang BMS” app.
    → Available on iOS and Android phone or tablet
           iOS | Android

  • 45Ah Battery
    → Requires the “Superpower BMS” app. iOS | Android
    → Available on iOS and Android phone or tablet
         
    iOS | Android

 


 

Step 2: Connect to the BMS

  1. Download the correct app based on your battery (see above).

  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device.

  3. Open the app and begin scanning for available BMS devices.

Device ID Prefixes:

  • 41Ah (Xiaoxiang BMS):
    Look for a device ID that starts with HD or EK

  • 45Ah (Superpower BMS):
    Look for a device ID that starts with CLY

 


 

Step 3: Review Battery Health

Once connected, you will see detailed battery metrics, including:

  • State of Charge

  • Cell Group Voltage

  • Cell Balance Information

👉 Important:
The voltage difference between cell groups should ideally be no more than 0.1–0.15V.
If the battery is significantly out of balance, it may:

  • Fail to reach full charge

  • Cut out during rides

  • Indicate a deeper issue with the battery or BMS
