🛠️ Frame Compatibility
-
V1.5 Frames: Battery fits like a 41Ah/23Ah unit.
Tilt the battery slightly — seat side down first — for a clean fit. -
V1 Frames: Slight modification is required. Here's how:
✂️ Modifying a V1 Frame
-
Remove panels and battery (if one is installed).
-
Cut slits in the right and left sides of the battery tray, as shown in our reference photos. The battery is pictured below for reference, but any cutting and/or bending should be performed with the battery removed from the tray. This is to be done on both sides of the bike.
-
Bend outward slightly using a mallet or pliers to create extra clearance.
-
Insert the battery using the same seat-side-down angle mentioned above.
-
Secure the battery using straps (recommended for all RCR models).
-
Reinstall your panels and seat.
⚡ Ready to Ride
Once connected, power on your RCR and enjoy the extended range and performance boost that the 45Ah battery unlocks.
