Tim Seward, founder and Chief Design Officer of ONYX Motors, shares the story behind the creation of the all-new RCR 80V. With a deep passion for mopeds and nearly a decade of electric motorbike design experience, Tim set out to redefine performance while staying true to the RCR’s classic roots.

The RCR 80V is a complete redesign informed by years of rider feedback. It features a new aluminum chassis, top speeds over 70 mph in Hyper Mode, and rider-focused upgrades like touchscreen navigation via CarPlay/Android Auto. Built for both commuting and canyon carving, it’s ONYX’s most powerful and advanced ride yet.
